EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

Puneet was born and raised in the small town of Bhikhi, Punjab.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Bio-Informatics at Panjab University before earning his law degree from the School of Law at MGS University in India.

Puneet began his legal career practising before the District Courts of Mansa and the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh.

He represented individuals, public entities, and multinational clients, including Apple India, Panasonic, Bharti Airtel, and Xiaomi India. His practice included criminal defence, personal injury, and consumer law matters.

PATH TO ALBERTA PRACTICE

After relocating to Canada, Puneet earned his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

He first worked as a legal assistant with Yanko Popovic Sidhu before beginning his articles in September 2025 under the mentorship of his principal, Herman Sidhu.

After completing his articles, Puneet continued with the firm as a personal injury lawyer, building on his international experience and established knowledge of the firm.

LANGUAGES & COMMUNITY

Puneet is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, allowing him to communicate clearly with clients from a range of backgrounds.

He is also an active member of the Calgary community. Outside the office, Puneet enjoys staying fit, exploring new places, and spending time with his family and friends.
