EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Toronto in 1989.

She later attended the University of Saskatchewan, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws in 1992.

After being called to the British Columbia Bar in 1993, Dana spent the early part of her career working as in-house counsel. She later entered private practice in Vancouver with Hammerberg Lawyers LLP.

Throughout her career, Dana has practised primarily in personal injury litigation, representing individuals affected by serious injuries and losses.

ALBERTA & BRITISH COLUMBIA PRACTICE

Dana successfully completed the required transfer examinations and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2001. She moved to Calgary in 2005 and continues to maintain active bar membership in both Alberta and British Columbia.

Dana has litigated cases in both provinces and appeared before:

The British Columbia Supreme Court

The British Columbia Court of Appeal

Her experience across both jurisdictions provides valuable insight when a personal injury matter involves interprovincial or jurisdictional considerations.

PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP & RECOGNITION

Dana authored a paper addressing jurisdictional issues between Alberta and British Columbia. She presented the paper while serving as Co-Chair of the Insurance and Personal Injury Panel for the Alberta Law Conference.

Through her practice and professional involvement, Dana works to ensure that the rights of individuals are protected and respected.

COMMUNITY & INTERESTS

Dana previously volunteered with Level’s Indigenous Youth Outreach Program, contributing to its leadership-focused work.

She is a former competitive golfer and grew up in an athletic family. Outside the office, Dana enjoys yoga, golf, fitness, and cheering for her favourite hockey team.
