EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

Husna’s commitment to client-centred advocacy dates to 2015, when she assisted Indigenous claimants with their sensitive legal claims under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement as a caseworker.

As a student-at-law at a Calgary-based international law firm, Husna navigated complex plaintiff-side class proceedings and attended all levels of Alberta courts with counsel. This strengthened her foundation in the procedural demands of complex litigation.

Husna enjoys travelling, hiking, dancing, writing poetry, learning to play the Kabul rabab, and bringing her international perspective to her Canadian legal practice.
